Project: Moolah Manager

Moolah Manager is a financial bookkeeping application used for management of the monetary transactions. The user is encouraged to take ownership of managing their finances via a time-saving and efficient command-line interface. It is written in Java, and has about 10 kLoC.

Given below are my contributions to the project.

• Feature 1: Added the Edit feature
  • What it does: Allows the users to edit their current transactions which exists in the list of transactions.
  • Justification: This feature is essential for users who would like to change some details in their transaction with a single command.
  • Highlights: The user is allowed to edit any component of the transaction which will be reflected upon successful execution.
• Feature 2: Added the Delete Feature
  • What it does: Allows the users to delete a specific transaction which exists in the list of transactions.
  • Justification: This feature is essential for users who would like to remove a particular transaction with a single command.
  • Highlights: The user is allowed to delete the transaction which will be reflected upon successful execution.
• Feature 3: Added the Purge Feature
  • What it does: Allows the users to clear all transactions which exists in the list of transactions.
  • Justification: This feature is essential for users who would like to remove all transaction with a single command.
  • Highlights: The user is allowed to clear the whole list of transactions which will be reflected upon successful execution.
• Enhancements to Existing Features:
  • Exception handling for Delete Command #53,
  • Added the functionalities of Edit Command #124, #241,
• Bug Fixing:
  • Fixed Errors from Delete and Purge Commands #49,
  • Fixed Errors from Edit Command #247,
• Documentation:
  • User Guide:
    • Added documentation for features edit, delete, purge and bye.
  • Developer Guide:
    • Created sequence diagram and documentation for delete, purge, bye and edit Command
    • Created class diagram and documentation for Command Component
    • Wrote Documentation on Preface, Acknowledgements, Overview for Transaction
